Post subject:  Newly joined Forum
Hello everyone,
I just joined the Forum after looking with interest at the many posts about the mirage drive kayaks and specifically about the PA17 which I now own. Took it out first on a lake to get to know it (my better half caught a wild 15 inch rainbow) then on the saltchuck for a 10 kilometer trip. So far I and my wife are happy and impressed. Looking forward to fishing for salmon, halibut and rockfish. Now getting the Torqeedo drive and a spare battery) so I can quickly get back to shore if the need arises, as weather can change quickly offshore Vancouver Island.

Congrats on your new ride and a very nice one at that. You also have a very pretty area to explore. It has always been on my list to make it out there and maybe one day I will.
