So I was thinking about getting a couple of these for my 2014 PA14 to help keep my rods in place and untangled. They're actually pretty reasonable ($17 each) and I like using the rod storage system on my PA. Seems like they'd be a great addition. But on the ACK website their staff states that it won't fit older PAs...yet someone who apparently bought them says it "fits on my 2013/14 PA14 perfectly and keeps my rods in place and safe". I tend to lean toward the actual user experience rather than a staffer that might be "reading off the box instructions" if you know what I mean. Does anyone know for sure if they'll work with the 2014 PA14? I'd hate to order only to send them back (even though ACK will take them back...those guys rock!) Is anyone else with an older PA using them? Inquiring minds want to know.... Thanks |

Same diameter tube... fits, but does not hold the 30 degree rotation positions like on the new H-Rail tubes. Would be great for rod storage holders, but maybe not something like a rod holder under load while fishing. |
