Post subject:  Recommendation for sun protection gloves?

Anybody care to recommend a good fishing or water glove for sun protection? I always use SPF 50, wide brim hat, lightweight long sleeve shirts and pants, but the backs of my hands remain exposed and at risk for sun damage. They are remarkably darker than anywhere else on me, which confirms that I need some sun gloves. Lots available, with a tremendous price range. Looking for recommendations based on real-world experience.
Thanks

I fish year around with these Glacier Gloves and they really protect your hands from the sun.......if it's warm, just dunk your hands in the water.....helps holding a slimy fish too!

I think I paid $15 in our local sporting good store.

BUY THE cheapist ones you and find. Try them out and if you like them then replace them often. Or buy the most expensive one and replace them often also even if you do not like them... That's the way I see it... Good Luck

I bought a pair with half-fingers and a suede-like material in the palms. (I don't know the brand.) They're great - until they get wet - and then they are slicker than snot on a doorknob. I think I'm going to buy a pack of cheap cotton work gloves and simply cut off the ends of two fingers and thumb as an experiment.

You'll have to wash them after every trip, because they'll get fish slime on them. So it might be worth it to simply buy super-cheap gloves and toss them after use.

I use the ones made by buff. They make those neck/head things. Work great and dont get bunched up . only complaint and i cant think of any glove that wouldnt is they smell once you catch a few fish.i wash them and they arent that bad.

Thanks for all the good feedback. I ended up going with the Cabelas sungloves

So far they are working out pretty well. Very lightweight and cool, dry quickly, easy on and relatively easy off, and look like they will hold up OK through the laundry.
