There is a spot about 20 miles from the nearest launch that my buddy's and I are dying to try. Our PA-14's are too big to put on the boat. Are the front and rear handles strong enough to daisy chain two or three together behind a boat? If so what speed would be safe? |

Any thing above the 6 MPH will cause the PA 14 to take on water and nose dive. If you pull it backwards you might get to travel a little faster, but not much. I believe I saw on this site that if you take the mirage drive out and place the plug in the mirage hole then you might get to up the speed a little more... I did a search on here and did not find the post... Good Luck. |

I forgot to answer one of your questions: The handles are strong enough, but they do not pull very well in a line. you might want to try and pull each on it's own line to the main boat... Just a suggestion. I have never tried to chain together... Again Good Luck |

Thanks for the reply. I was gonna put the plug in anyway. We may go play with the set up to see what happens. At going 20 miles we need to run about 20 miles an hour on plane. ![]() |

Thanks for a reply later after the trip. |
