Post subject:  replacing the seat webbing

My seat webbing tore and it was under warranty so Hobie sent the deal the new webbing and I am putting it on.

Creating the holes in the webbing for the plastic pieces that screw into the seat is causing a problem. The forward most holes that I need to make are right on the reinforced nylon edge. I have stretched this thing as far forward as I can, I really pulled hard on it and I can and I can only get the hold as far as 1/2 way by that nylon edging. How am I supposed to put this thing on?

thanks.

Can you post a photo? You have to remove the fittings to install the tramp and then reinstall them over the material same way they were from the factory on the original.

will see what I can do with a pic.
I did remove the fittings slid the webbing on the seat, put the loops on the back and then pulled forward so the holes could go in the same place.

I wanted to go fishing so ended up putting only one hole from each side in the webbing.
The front screw is still in holding the fitting but it does not go through the webbing because I could not pull it far enough forward.
Is having only one screw in the webbing and the other outside the webbing, is that OK?

Instead of posting a new topic I will use this one. I need replacement seat webbing for my 2012 PA14. What is the part number for this and what's the cost (doesn't show a part number on the catalog page I reference below)? Also, is every part on this vessel on the catalog here on page 64: https://static.hobiecat.com/digital_ass ... 1531169193

I really want a comprehensive parts list for my 2012 PA14.
