Post subject:  Pro Angler Seat Question

I purchased a Pro Angler 14 without a seat. The hull is in new condition.

I do not have the base or anything except the bare hull. I was wondering if anyone had some ideas of how the rig a seat .

Thanks

Go to PDF page 58 which is catalog page 56 to see what the Hobie P/N's are.

The seat and parts will be over $300.

I assume the rudder control is already installed....if not, you need to order those parts too.

The rudder is installed. I was looking on doing this with after market parts without hobie parts as believe there may be easier solutions

Cabelas has a universal seat slide and add any padded bass boat style seat. The slide works great. It will match up to kayak mounting and padded seat bolts to it.

I did this to my older style PA and it was very comfortable. I no longer have the PA air I'd be able to get a pic to you.

You should find info by Googling PA seat slide. It will give you model numbers too.

I just did a quick look and you need the original seat mounting from the PA to make this slide work.

The seat mount is only 2 pieces of 3" x 1 1/2" aluminum channel.
