Can anyone recommend a cell phone mount for a Galaxy S4? I'd like to have my phone handy for gps, etc while I'm out there. I want something semi-permanent - no suction cup mounts. Thanks. |

Good chance the RAM X-Grip will do the job: http://slhobie.com.au/gear/mounts/ram-mounts/351-ram-x-grip ![]() ![]() Holder Dimensions: Minimum Width = 1.875" Maximum Width = 3.25" Depth = 0.875" Any Hobie dealer should have them. |

I like the "steelie mount" system. A steel ball and a magnet with 3M adhesive/tape. I was concerned about the effect of the magnet on the phone at 1st, but mounted the way they specify and I haven't had an issue. It's a whole less restrictive than other 'holders' as it doesn't grip or hold the phone - the magnet does - and it rotates around the steel ball for multiple easy to acheive angles. Just my opinion though. |

Just my opinion though. That Steelie system looks cool but I don't think it would handle Saltwater abuse much (don't think it's made for that to be honest) but looks sensational for the car |

I use the RAM X-grip for my iphone (Lifeproof cased) on my Outback...just add the RAM Tough-claw to mount on the H-Rail. Saltwater safe. I would suggest a leash on your phone as no phone holder is indestructible. ![]() http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/3017340282 ... ps&lpid=82 ![]() |

If only the small rubber attachments at each corner would stay put! They fall off easily when removing the phone. Recommend using superglue to make them somewhat permanent! |

I too use the X-Grip for my iPhone but did order this yesterday for $6. Wraps around the back of the X-Grip and then secures the 4 corners of the phone. For $6, I thought it was worth the try. Doesn't arrive until Thursday, so maybe I'll try it out on Friday.
