Everyone, Love my PA12. Have literally used it every weekend all year. I have a few accessories mounted on the handrail and I find myself increasingly annoyed by the small amount of play in the handrail. It only wiggles a few degrees, but that's amplified through the rod holders (which are about 16 inches long) and causes the rods to flop around a fair amount. It's been like this ever since I purchased it, but I wish there was a way to tighten it down. Has anyone else found a way to fix this? Here's a reference video I took. |

Of course... the newer style H-Rail does not do that due to the flats. Pop a rivet in it through one of the plastic parts. |

Any way the new H-Rails can be retrofitted onto a 2014? I'd do that upgrade in a heartbeat. |

There is a kit for that: 84625301 PA H-RAIL UPGRADE KIT ($149 USD USA 9/2015) Works for PA 12 and 14. You have to trim down for the 12. This is somewhat involved install since it also involves steering charges. Currently some in stock but a bunch on order too. |

Thanks for the help Matt. ![]() The rivets took about 10 minutes. Spent more time prepping the drill bits and getting my tools together than actually putting the rivets in. The seam on the plastic serves as a good guide. I started with two rivets on the inside of each handle. They should last forever, but if not, I'll bore out a deeper hole and drop in bigger rivets, or add more of them. End result looks professional, couldn't be happier! ![]() Thanks again, no wobble. |
