| Post subject: | Pro Angler 14 versus Outback |
I have a 2015 outback with turbo fins and sailing rudder. I love the speed, turning radius, and how it handles in the wind but I am thinking about switching to a PA 14 for the added storage and floor space. Those of you who have both or have used both, how much speed will I lose going to the PA 14? Is there any differences in effort required to propel it since the PA has a higher seat? Will it be more affected by the wind since it is higher out of the water or does the skeg compensate for that? The biggest complaint I have read about the PA seems to be the weight but I have a trailer so I'm not too concerned about that. Anything else I should consider before making the switch? Thanks |
