I have uploaded a picture to this post so hopefully it goes through. But there is an indentation below the rear left deck pad. Any idea what this is? I purchased the kayak in May '15 and have used it less than 10 times. Is there a hole in the kayak in this area??  Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

 Just open the rectangular hatch close by, remove the tackle boxes and feel the underside with your hand or use a inspection mirror and flashlight if needed.

There are scupper tubes that attach the deck to the hull bottom all along the deck to support the weight. They're on all PA17t's |

You can pull the pads off, determine what the hole is, contact Hobie,and then stick it back on. The only reason I say this is I put in after market flooring (Sea Deck)which require removing the factory pads. I repurposed those pads for the bow hatch so my dogs can run around the whole deck and not slip. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will. Hope this helps! Also, do you Fish Lake Mead?? |

I've removed the pads and reapplied them and they stick just fine. also I'm from vegas as well and would like to fish lake mead ya sometime. |
