Post subject: | YakAttack anchor trolley |
I am a huge fan of very clean installs, and am wanting to buy an anchor trolley for my new PA14. I am looking at the Hobie versus the YakAttack. I installed the Yak-Gear trolley on both sides of my old kayak, at the time it seamed the nicest looking and most functional. Now I am drawn to the YakAttack Leverloc Anchor Trolley. I know both Hobie and YakAttack use Harken pulleys, but does anyone know if they are the same hole pattern as the molded in pulley bolts on the 2016 PA? It would be pretty great to add this trolley and only have to drill a couple of holes for the locking mechanism, and one hole each for the YAttack pad eyes. Advice or pictures of what others have done would be greatly appreciated. ![]() |

I picket up my new PA14 today, and also received a couple of LeverLocs Anchor Trolley's in the mail from YakAttack. I am going to do the full install tomorrow - actually today - since it is after 1am. I did install the Harken Pulleys and they fit perfectly. Long story short, this looks to be a VERY easy install, and I should only have two drill 4 small holes per side. I will post a picture when I am finished tomorrow...I mean today. Not sure if I am going to use well nuts for the locking mechanism or a set screw. |
