Hi all - old man in the sea but fresh in kayaking .. Got a PA 14 - my first kayak - in Costa Rica but my fishing spots are very spread and can't pedal 15 m or more .. Possible launching beaches are always beaten by surf only favored by surfers .. Has anyone been attempting to match the AI Amas to a PA ? Can it be done ? My ruder also seems not handling well side wind with kayak turning transom to weather constantly.. One capsizing was enough .. Thinking of adding some sidekick or something better and changing to larger ruder .. Will it help ? How's about a larger sail kit also ? |

What year is your PA? Hobie does make a larger rudder for the PA. Short, quick pedal strokes makes the PA respond quicker to the rudder. |
