Hi, was wondering if anyone had the part number for the newer H Rail stern handles, would like to retrofit my 2014 PA12 that has a round bar stern handle. Thanks |

Thanks for the reply, I think that is the same tube I have now, the round tube, I'm wondering if it's a different part number for the H Rail bar (the bar with 12 sides for accessories). Thanks |

Ok, Try this http://cdn.hobiecat.com/digital_assets/ ... vVATny.pdf on page 29 of broacher in the bottom right, they have a complete h-rail upgrade kit for older hobies part numbers 84626001 or 84626101 |

I actually ordered that kit and installed it, it replaces the round bars on the sides with H Rails. This is one of the reasons why I would like to also change the stern round bar, I would like H Rails all the way around to match. I might have to call a dealer on this one, I have had no luck online so far. Thanks for the help. |

Okay, I'm going to do the same. Hoping 84626001 is the right one for the stern. Would be cool if you could buy stock H-rail and cut to fit. |

Well it doesn't fit... The H-rail rod is not long enough on the 9" upgrade. I was thinking of drilling some holes in the H-rail to lock in place to keep it from sliding but I still think there isn't enough pipe to support the weight of the boat and not affect the handle attachments from rotating. Hobie - If you're listening... Sell stock H-rail to cut to size. I want to buy all your gadgets that attach to said rail. |
