Got a chance to purchase a 2014 PA 17T with trailer, No mods made to the boat and the guy is asking $5000 Any thoughts on if this is a good deal or not. Thanks, Joe |

I think that this is a pretty good deal, mostly depending on the type/condition of the trailer. Considering a new 17t is $5300 plus tax new, and no discounts are to be found anywhere on Hobie kayaks, $5000 for the kayak alone would be an ok deal. Now add the trailer and the deal just got sweeter. What kind of trailer is it? I speak from the expirience of shopping around for the last few months for a 17t. I finally broke down and just bought one new from my local dealer. |

If this is the same one my co-worker and friend who lives between Daytona Beach and Saint Augustine is selling, it's a steal. It's a brand new galvanized trailer and he is throwing in one of those PowerPole Micro setups as well. I doubt if there's very little usage in his setup. |
