Post subject:  PA 2013 foam blocks - coincidental query

I have 12 foam blocks in the hull.
2 round white ones are firmly positions underneath the front posts of the seat.
3 grey ones are firmly positioned under the starboard standing pad (black rubbery mat)
3 same as above but on the port

The other 4 were loose underneath the seat area and provided no structural support. It doesn't seem right they come out so easily when the other grey ones are tough to get out. I tried positioning them this way and that but no satisfaction. How should these foam blocks sit in the hull?

thanks,

finny

The four foam blocks should be located under the seat. If you're having trouble getting them to stay put, try positioning the blocks as far aft as possible but still under the seat. If you're still having trouble getting them to wedge in properly, you can try adding a piece of pool noodle foam to the top of the block.

Once in position, use some Gorilla tape to hold the foam blocks to the hull.....they will not move until the tape is removed
