So I bit the bullet and bought a 2017 14 PA.

My question is this, has anyone here attempted any mods, such as maybe an outrigger and sails or a motor? I like to do multi-day fishing/island camping and was wondering about an outrigger (for better Balance and storage and a sail/motor for more versatility.

Anyone tried these mods or is the PA pretty much bound to its stock design?

I'll post my own design once it's finished and tested.
I think half outrigger will be enough if the purpose is just have a motor on the side.

Wow Yaknsee that is EXACTLY what I was talking about......fantastic!

Has anyone used a Hobie Cat 14 hull as a half outrigger?

I don't know much about marine physics (or physics in general, I'm an IT guy) but would having a Hobie Cat 14 hull as a half outrigger work?

Heres another outrigger, 12.5ft in length and 220lbs of buoyancy.
