I'm trying to build a kayak cart and was wondering what the distance of the scupper posts on the hobie cart are exactly (center to center)? I've seen 11" and 11 3/8". Also, are the posts that go through the scupper parallel to each other or are they slightly inverted in? |

The current cart scuppers are oval, so be sure it is within the dimensions of your boat. It can vary a little. The posts are parallel. We have some carts that are a tight fit, so go off the hull... not an existing cart for the best fit. |

I purchased me one of these last fall. WOW what a difference it makes over the HD cart. Rolls right over the top of powder sand as well. Mine was a tight fit...The posts center to center measured a little over 3/8's wider than the HD cart if i remember correctly. I simply bent them in a bit and now it will go right in and fall right out.... |
