I picked up a HDS Gen 3 7 with structure scan for my PA14. There were two boxes in the bundle. One had the LSS-2 structurescan transducer and the other had the unit and a smaller transducer. Do I need to mount both transducers? There is a spot on the unit for each to plug in. One labeled sonar and the other labeled structure with each having unique plug style. Thanks. |

The smaller one does traditional sonar and the LSS-2 side and down scan. You could purchase the TotalScan transducer, which would do everything with just one transducer. |
