Is the seat on the 2017 PA14 adjustable forward and rear. Don't want to relive showing up to the county fair at 13, only to find you are still too short to ride the fun rides I'm a stocky 5'5" |

The seat only rises up in the back, but it tends to push you forward unless you change the seat back setting. IMHO, at 5'5", you won't have any issues peddling a PA-14 since the Mirage drive pedal arms adjust as well as the seat. The seat bottom tilts up and down and the seat back adjusts in and out/fore and aft. Have you considered visiting your local Hobie dealer and sit in a PA-14 to see how adjustable it really is???? |

I've even got room to adjust the pedals two clicks closer to the seat. Here's a quick video that covers the adjustment features of the Vantage ST seat. |

My girlfriend is 5'1" and pedals a PA14 with no problem. She loves it and actually prefers it over an Outback even at her size! |
