Just wanted to see what everyone thought of the length of PVC Im using. It is contacting the hull all the way but was wondering if I should extend the length? [url][URL=http://s738.photobucket.com/user/Jcorma/media/IMG_2361.jpg.html] ![]() |

If your cross supports are 67" apart, then the PVC is just long enough. On my PA-14, I have an extra 10-12" of PVC on either end. One suggestion is to release/deploy both the rudder and tracking skeg, so the internal pulleys have the tension removed. |

OK thanks..They are only 56" apart but I have room to move the rear support back another 15". The I could slide the boat back. If I do that I wont be able to deploy the rudder and skeg but I could just release the rope so there isnt any tension. |

![]() You could do something like this, with no PVC. I have stored this way every winter for three years. |
