I decided I didn't want to run out of power while I'm out on the water. I run a Lowrance HDS 9 with TotalScan (upgrading to Lowrance Carbon 9 with StructureScan 3D when they ship). I have lighting, Power-Pole and I charge my iPad mini and cellphone while I'm on the water. I was running two 9ah batteries last season and just added a third. The batteries are wired in parallel, so in theory I should have about 27ah, which should be plenty to get me through the day.

Just a thought about any possible issues recharging the batteries, since they are all in parallel? |
