Hello PA owners, after a year of research I picked up my Pro Angler 12 Camo three weeks ago.
I built a Malone trailer in February and was able to outfit it and build an indoor storage rack while waiting for the snow to melt in the North East.
It was very enjoyable and made possible to all your enthusiasm and tips provided in these forum discussions.
Thank you all,

I was able to shake her down last weekend with 20 mph winds and six inch white caps on a local lake. Interior stayed nice and dry. Second day out I was trout fishing in very calm and warm conditions.
It was great to pedal and the MD180 was lighter on the legs than the Outback and Revolution models that I tried out last year.
The extra height of the PA Vantage seat added comfort and easier casting.
Enjoyed trolling at 2.5 to 3 mph and was able to push it up to 4.6 mph in bursts.
Are these speeds typical for a PA 12?

Those speeds are about right for most people. You're just fine. :D
