Hey, guys! First post here, have done some lurking for info, but can't find what I need now. I've got a 12PA ('14) and use it to fish Tablerock lake in SW MO and N AR. Love it, but at my advanced age I usually only go out for 3-4 hrs, before I start to get so stiff I can't get out of the boat afterward! Looking at the Torqueedo setup for the rudder, don't want it to take the place of my Mirage drive. I can't find any specific literature that says it is workable on the 12' boat. I've seen pics on here that look like my boat, but can't tell for sure. I can call them on Monday, just thought I might get some input on here before then. The closest dealer is up in Belton, MO, which is a 2 1/2 hr. drive for me. Anyone have experience with them? My Hobie dealer down here hasn't done one of these, and I do want it done right! Thanks for any input in advance. Tom |

Do it yourself...easy. Mounting the ball is the hardest part..best to set it on its side while doing it, this way the washers wont fall off the bolts . https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=54680 |
