Title says it all!
I feel a single click in the left pedal when pushing forward on the right pedal, with every normal stroke. No click on strokes if I take a gliding pause in-between, but major annoyance (and noise!) when moving along in usual cadence at trolling speeds above about 2.2 mph. I have been unable to recreate the click out of water, so it must be related to propulsive forces on the fins? I have tried adjusting the thumbscrews holding fins to masts, with no success. Dealer says that the Glide Technology drives have too many moving parts to troubleshoot - not a very satisfying answer. My 2010 drive was silent - I hope to get to that same point with my 2016 drive. Any advice?

I call BS on "too many parts in the glide technology to trouble shoot".
Is it possible the noise is coming from the foot pedal itself?
You might want to pop off the pedal shaft end cap, clean and grease the shaft and pedal center hole, reassemble and retention the end play with a new nylock nut.

Another possibility is uneven chain tension or the idler pulley shaft is slightly loose and moves??

I say this only because is happened to me - take your shoes off and pedal the boat again. The noise may suddenly disappear...

There is a known issue with some sprockets. The pin that gets pulled after molding was either off center or pulled at an angle leaving a lump inside (very slight) that the roller bearings pass over. This can click. Ask warranty to replace the sprockets if you can determine that this is the case with your sprockets. You might have to remove the chain and just rotate cabk and forth to feel it.

Another thing you could look at....Check for loose drum to pedal shaft through bolt.

I snapped a bearing rod when i serviced a GT drive once. Still worked fine but developed a slight clicking..

Thanks for all the thoughtful replies.
Doc, Tom - I doubt that the click is in the pedal or in my shoes, as it still clicks when I pedal using only the right foot (left foot out of the stirrup and resting on the deck).
I like the roller bearing or molded sprocket suggestions and will try to determine which without doing a complete teardown.
