Hi yall I just was lucky enough to get a used 2010 pa14! First issue I have is the up/down rope is not working. I believe the pulley has come loose. Does anyone have a diagram of where and how that is supposed the attached? I send in an email to hobie but have not heard back. Thanks in advance! I had a problem with mine as well. Try to use a mirror and see where your cable is routed. Mine was being pinched between the hull and the foam inserts, preventing smooth up/down. I used a 2ft piece of plastic tube to run the cable through, preventing it from jamming between the foam and hull. Besides that, the rudder is spring loaded to the down position. Not much more to this system. Hope this helps. |
