I ordered the Hobie Fishfinder install Kit III and discovered the battery brace does not fit in the rear 8" round hole....where do other mount this or do they just not use the brace on the PA12? Thanks |

I put mine on the mast mount in the front hatch. There is lots of room behind the hatch liner on a PA14 I'd think it would be the same on yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Hobie Battery holder can mount to the mast receiver under the front cargo hatch, or can lay inside the 8" round hatch (oriented horizontally and resting on the lip of the hatch). ![]() |

Installed Lowarance fish finder with Hobie Fish Finder install kit, was actually easy and quick. I did ask my son who has longer arms to help take backing nut off grommet behind seat to run transducer cable. |

I have two batteries wired in parallel to double the rune time mounted to the front mast tube (stacked) using two Hobie battery brackets. They allow me to run my Lowrance Elite 5, PowerPole micro and cockpit light over multiple outings without having to recharge Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

If so what type of connectors did you use? Thanks |

Yes + to+ is parallel, make yourself a couple "y" connectors with waterproof crimps. Or you can make it more permanent by adding the dual connectors directly to the ends of the lead to the Lowrance. Here's a mockup for example, to make it permanent don't use the plug on the single end, use a barrel connector instead. You will have to adjust the length of the wires to reach both batteries. These are heat shrink connectors but I use additional heat shrink tubing over top. ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
