Yesterday I went and purchased a second starring handle so i can be versatile on starring with either hand .Install was easy but now I noticed the handles are not straight. In the straight ahead position on the left handle is pointed out to the left and the right handle is pointed out to the right. Can this be corrected so that both handles are straight ?I have seen many posts about a kit that is now available to raise these to give dual starring but no one has complained about this . |

Although mine is a 2014 and this diagram is different it is similar and I found the answer to my problem .Mine has a tension knob to tighten the rudder and the rear strings being too loose made the pulley to the front tensioner go up into hull sideways causing the problem i was noticing .I never had an issue on the water that I noticed and replacing one handle made alignment being out noticeable .So i adjusted rear cable made tensioner loose and adjusted all is now properly alined will see if i note difference net time Im out. |
