I have a 2017 Pro Angler 14 with pre tapped anchor trolley holes. I purchased the Hobie anchor kit # 72020273. The screw holes do not match up when trying to mount the system. I watched a you tube video of a guy trying to install one on his 12 and 14 pro angler and his did not line up either. Hobie where are you?????? Anyone else come across this issue? I can probably dremel out the holes to make it fit, but I shouldn't have to. |

Agree but I did use the demo tool fix when I rigged my 2017 PA12 camp last spring and the results were OK. |

I did the drill out modification and it worked , but really, why is it necessary when Hobie has been well aware of the issue ? |

The part referenced in your initial post is for the Compass anchor trolley kit. Pro Angler anchor trolley kit part number is 72020073 - Anchor Trolley Universal kit. The parts are much different, but aside from that it seems like you have an issue where the holes on the cheek block pulley aren't aligning with the brass inserts in the boat. I do know the install requires a loose assembly before tightening anything down, otherwise it can be difficult to get the screws to line up with the inserts. |
