Just picked up a lightly used 2017 PA 14 that was kind of dirty, I thought. It has stains that look like dirt but are not. What are you guys using to clean these Yaks? I tried a little MEK and a little Acetone and neither did much good. I was happy they didn't pull the color out though. Plan on using it in the Rockport, Port Aransas, Aransas Pass area of Texas. |

I have good luck with magic eraser before. I had a dark stain on side of the hull that Hobie Stain remover worked like a charm. |

Acetone??? Yikes! I would steer clear of acetone for sure. Just get it cleaned up with soap and water (sure magic eraser is fine) and fix/replace other things as needed, then worry about stains. |

Thanks to all! The Magic Eraser worked like, well, magic. The boat is in great shape with nothing to fix. I'll be adding some trinkets though. |

I bought my PA 14 demo model and the bottom was full of scratches and I was regretting getting used. After not even a full season I've added a bunch more plus dirt and grime. I wouldn't worry too much, if you fish it hard like I do it's going to get dirty with full of scrapesbtheres no way of avoiding it. |
