Post subject:  Which mount for Elite 7 Ti2?

Just picked up a new Elite 7 Ti2 from Dicks since they are running a really good deal with $100 cash back right now. All I got to figure out before I'm gravy is which RAM/YakAttack mount is gonna fit into the back of this thing correctly. Anybody have experience with this unit yet?

Yakattack FFP-1002 works with 7ti2.

Remove the standard base and plugs right into the FF. Choose any 1 1/2" ball mount.

Numerous attachments will work, your main focus should BE SURE its a 1-1/2" ball. 1" will not cut it with the large 7" screen. I also have an Elite 7Ti, trust me YOU WILL LOVE IT. Touchscreen takes a bit to get used to, and I know some yakkers hate the touch screen, but I LOVE IT.

I know this is an older post, but has anyone had any issues with this model Ram connector staying connected to the Ti2? I have an elite 7 ti2 and purchased this mount, but I swear the thing doesn't fit snug into the back of the unit. It constantly falls off. I'm so confused... looking closer it almost appears like the lip that clips in is to big and even pulling on the release handle on the back of the unit doesn't allow it to clear the release mechanism and securely fasten to the connector. Wondering if I sand a little off and work it till it fits.

Anyone?
