Hello everyone. Does anyone know if the kayak covers from Hobie can be washed in a machine? A feral cat pissed all over mine and it stinks! Ugh, LOL |

These are made by Danuu and they have cleaning instructions: https://danuu.com/cover-care-tips/ Quote: We have people ask us about washing their Danuu cover. Yes, it can be washed in a machine but we suggest sponging it down with just soap and water. The beating a washer gives it will reduce the life of the water repellency. If you do machine wash it, hit it with some Scotch Guard or McNett's water repellency products to restore that property.

Thank you for the quick reply, I’ll give it a good washing by hand. Any ideas on keeping cats away from it? LOL |
