I have a 2019 PA 14 with the Guardian transducer mounting plate. I found the Guardian transducer mounting templates on the Hobie website. I also tried to find something on YouTube. Nothing on this transducer. I would like to do it the right way. Any pushes in the right direction would be appreciated. |

wj, thanks for the thoughts. The 2019 PAs have the Guardian series transducer mounts that retract the transducer into a protected position within the hull. Check out this short video on the Guardian series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwUL9VlFO14 I ended up calling Hobie tech support and with a email and some pictures found a solution to my question with Hobie's help. A little Dremel action and a drill bit let me install the high def, side imaging transducer in the best way on my boat. |
