Do you PA 14 owners and Torqeedo enthusiast prefer the old ball type mount to install the motor or the new mounting bracket (403 AC) that requires the Hobie power pole mount as well? I have not seen too many installs online with the newer style bracket on the PA 14. If you have the new bracket, did you integrate the steering to the steering drum? or are you using foot pedals or handles? I would prefer to integrate into the steering drum since it appears to be the cleanest install. |

Is anyone even using the new style mount? All the youtube videos I watched looked like they had the motor in a fixed position. |
