I just got a Hook 2 5 Tripleshot for Christmas. I have a 2018 PA 12. It does not have the retractable transducer mount. I know Hobie & Berley Pro make a Tripleshot mount for older Hobies. I usually store my kayak on my garage floor. I’m concerned that kayak would be resting on the transducer, while sitting in the garage. Am I overly concerned or does anyone have any advice or experience in this? I’m thinking of returning it for a Splitshot. Thanks. |

Also you should be storing your kayak upside down on a couple sawhorse’s. Get a couple of the folding plastic ones at your local Home Depot or where ever. They work perfect for this pupose. |
