I tied my PA12 to the roof rack and it was hot out, it created two little I dents in the bottom of the kayak. I want to let it sit on upside down in the sun, but how do I go about it? I can’t flip it over because then it will sit on the h-rails and on the steering handle. I’m worried that if I turn it on it’s side, it will then create a dent on the side. |

I've seen a video where they turned the kayak upside down and poured boiling water over the affected or dented area. The boiling water is hot enough to soften the plastic so it will return to it's originally formed shape but not hot enough to burn through the plastic. |
