I need some help. My drive was clunking and Hobie helped me fix the issue. Slight turn to the global adjustment and it went away. I haven't had any issues for about a month until today. My drive was awesome, I had no issues honestly besides that. Well today it started to bind up and get jammed when it was in the down position. When I removed the drive I had 3 small plastic pieces fall right into my lap. Now when the fins go up you can do something inside that isn't flush and when it turns you can see the inside rubbing metal on metal. I contacted my dealer and hope to get this solved asap. What could the issue be?

Early drives had a smaller lip holding bearings in place. Either you had one too few bearings or wear has allowed them to slip by the flange. Get a warranty claim filed at your dealer to get a replacement drive.
