I'm wanting to attach some gear to the toe rail, inside the cockpit. Some might call it the coaming. I want these accessories to be near the seat so they are accessible. The area of interest is between the side pockets (2021 PA-14) and the area around the forward cable seal. I'll try to include a photo. Obviously, I want to avoid any hardware such as the rudder controls, cables etc. Problem is, Hobie stuck a bunch of foam material up inside the toe rail, so I can't see what hardware is there. I don't think I can reach the foam to remove it. Has anyone seed a diagram of the factory installed underdeck hardware locations?. Seems that Hobie would have an engineering diagram that has all that shown. Or has anyone pulled the foam and can recall what to watch out for?

thanks

Nope. Can't see how to insert a photo.

Have you considered the Berley Pro Side Bro products, they mount to your seat in the same area you're talking about.
