Post subject:  NK300 and Pro Angler Electric Motor Capacity

Is there plans to review the electric motor capacity of the Pro Angler to follow a HP limit?

I know it was updated from 400 -> 1100 Watts to support the torqeedo 1103. Considering the NK300 output HP is the same (3 HP) as the Torqeedo but has a higher input 1300 Watt it seems like it should be supported.

Per this thread: https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=65996
It sounds like the review was already done and calculations confirmed that the NNMA standard was 3 HP.

I imagine this is going to cause quite the issue with Tournament anglers getting disqualified as most rules read:
Quote:
May not exceed the lesser of (i.) the manufacturer’s labeled Maximum HP/Thrust Capacity, (ii.) 3 HP, or (iii.) 155 foot-pound thrust. Violation of either condition will result in disqualification from the Event. (This does not pertain to wattage capacity.)
