| Post subject: | Removing watersnake 24 trolling motor wires |
Just bought watersnake 24 trolling motor for my PA12. I am in process of removing head and wires to shorten the shaft. My issue is removing the spade connectors. I have started on the blue wire but it is impossible to remove. I have wiggled it side to side and used needle nose pliers to try and pull off. Any ideas on best way to remove? I dont want to break anything. If I can't get it off, I may have to mount trolling motor on side of kayak. A second question is : Is there a performance difference with mounting it in the stern vs in the mirage drive well vs side mounting it? |
