Hello

When I was out at the weekend, it sometimes creaked when I pedaled,
When I lifted the pedals and turned them upside down these pegs fell out,

The pedals work as before, but a little now and then they possibly become a little slower and it creaks in them and then just pedal on.

What do these sticks do? Can you still hit the sea and not get stranded?
Something you can fix yourself or need to send away?

They are roller bearings. Yes, you would need them for the drive to work properly.

Had the same issue today, about 12 of these pins did fall out, is this bearing an orderable part. I cannot find anything online. Even a new drive is sold out anywhere.

Older 360 Drives? Changes were made to prevent this. Have your dealer review it with the warranty/tech manager.

Hi,

If you get stuck and the warranty service isn't helping you might try purchasing some other model roller bearings to see if they have the same diameter and you can cut them down if they are too long. They are rather inexpensive.

If you are able to locate the bearings, I figured out a way to put them back in and reinstall the fin unit without driving yourself nuts. i used a piece of scotch tape on the spindle to hold the bearings to the spindle.

Hi dgmanny,

I landed here after I experienced two roller bearings falling out of my 360 drive unit. Can you post a description of how you put them back in? Thanks!

Same problem here, and per the below video, there's an upgrade to 1/4 pin bearings. This upgrade requires the parts listed below. Sprocket Rotator is easy to find but the 1/4" x 1" roller bearings are nowhere to be found. I'm thinking of finding 1/4" carbon rods and cutting them down.

80151162 ROLLER BEARING 1/4" X 1" (34 Needed but you should buy some extras)
80151061 SPROCKET ROTATOR 360 (1 Needed)
