As a follow-up to my question on stowing excess halyard, how do you stow your righting bag, those of you that have one? I was thinking of running two parallel, fore and aft, bungees (one on each half of the tramp) in the edge grommets/lacing on the bottom of the tramp to hold the bag in place. A second option would be to add a cover between the bungees to reduce the possibility of the bag from being knocked loose by waves. The cover would have a front, back, and bottom, but open sides so I could remove and stow the bag from either side. Another, maybe the best, option is to use horizontal pouch which is open only at the front- a bag to hold the bag. I want secure stowage, but which will still allow me to quickly and easily remove and re-stow the bag. What have you guys done. |

I was planning on adding a sleave of sorts on the bottom side of the tramp just behind the rear crossbar. I'm planning on leaving both ends open as there is a line I wish to run through it as well on my boat. |
