Post subject:  Hobie 16 rentals near Ft Walton Beach
I have been a Hoby 16 sailor for quite a while up here on the Great Lakes - My sail number is just 3 digits: #721. My wife and I are finally empty nesters, and will be spending the Winter on Okaloosa Island, starting December 15th. Rather than haul my tired old 16 all the way down to FL, does anyone know where I could rent one down there? I am retired military, and maybe Eglin Rec Services has any rentals? 8)

in december your going to need to bring your old boat, way to cold for anyone to sail thats from here, also all rentals are a tourist based business, not many snow birds sail.

Post subject:  Hobie in Panama City Beach
I found a Hobie for rent on the beach at Sand Piper Resort here in Panama City Beach. Capt "PJ" has been quite helpful. A bit chilly today with the North wind, but next warmer day we will be out sailing again! :D
