Yea, its always the same: Wind blows when your stuck at work/school and wind dies when you want to go to the water. However, every once in awhile it seems to work out that the wind is perfect when you have the time and it makes the wait worthwhile. Think about it like this - if you had perfect wind everyday and no work/school, how long would it take to get tired of sailing? |

Not so sure about that...several years ago I sold the wings off my 18. I thought something was "fishy" when an email inquiry came with really big font! turns out the guy was 90 years old and looking for some back support on his 18, I was asking more than he wanted to pay but he planned on continuing to sail as long as possible sgtpepperoni00, Enjoy being bored at school while you can, being bored at work is nowhere near as much fun

I was sailing out of Biloxi, MS 2 weeks ago in the Gulf of Mexico. I was tieing the boat down to the trailer when this older gentleman rides his bicycle up to me and starts to chat. He said he watched me come in to the beach and made him think about his old Hobiecat. I am thinking this guy is too old to sail anymore and he was just thanking me for jogging his memory - not at all, he has been sailing a Star class boat (there is a lot of Star racing around Biloxi) and maybe he should knock the dust off his Hobie and get it wet. Anyways, what I am saying is A) I hope I am still flying a hull when folks think I am too crusty/old to sail anymore and B) school sucks WAY less than work. |

You guys sound like some kind of anti-drug campaign trying to keep me in school. Dont worry.. im a good boy. im staying in school outta trouble. If I had to do it all over again, I would enroll at Gulf Coast Community College. Maybe get a degree in Culinary Management or somesuch. You can see the MWE launch site from the classroom windows. Probably take about 10 years for a 2 year degree. |

Coushatta is a smidge south of Shreveport, LA. I can guarantee there will be some folks from SYC coming down for slip to ship. As for me personally, I doubt it as I have already done my own personal slip to ship this year. |

Hold on a sec..... Is this a math class that you're paying to attend but instead of learning math, you're wasting time drawing pictures of sailboats? Hey, that's what I use to do and I didn't even have a boat.
