Gotcha covered, Todd. I'll scan them in tonight. (I'm such a pack rat, I even found the original WordPerfect 5.2 files on my hard drive.)

Funny, I was just inventorying my Hotlines last night (there's a group of them up on eBay and I wanted to make sure I had all of them) and I came across that article.

I will say that the article needs to be updated based on minor changes to the boat and new techniques learned since it was written - I learned a bunch of new stuff at the 16 Worlds last year.

Here's the link to the Hotlines on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=82149&item=6947530252&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

I've got them all - including some duplicates, so if you let me know what you're missing, Mike, I might be able to help you out.

I'm trying to fill in a couple of gaps in my collection, but they're from the early '80's and pre-1973.

I had the same idea about updating the article - maybe for the July/August issue.

BTW, the Mar/Apr issue has been up on http://www.hobiecat.com/hobieclass for a week now. I suppose I could go ahead and make a general announcement.

Hi Matt
I just took inventory,I am missing the following
1988 mar/apr,sept/oct
1991nov/dec
1992jan/feb,mar/apr,july/aug,nov/dec
1994july/aug
1995july/aug,sept/oct,nov/dec
I know i have all three issues of the "celebrated 16" at camp so that accounts for three of them (not sure of the dates)
If you have extras of any of the above let me know as I would be interested in purchasing them

Mike,

I've got two of the ones you're missing (Jan/Feb 92, Mar/Apr 92). Send me an e-mail with your address and I'll send them to you, no charge. They're just taking up space in my basement.

The ones from 95 that you list don't exist. The last issue was May/Jun 95.

Post subject:  OMG! link to part 2 brings back memories. Thanks MattB

Check out the right page on link to Part 2. My interest in bigger multi's was spurred by that very ad for the Ian Farrier F-24. :o

I was interested so much that I was motivated to attend my first International Boat Show in Annapolis JUST to see and sail that boat and meet Ian Farrier in person. However the price tag of $35k or so (that was without cushions, curtains, sails, lifelines, motor  ) proved JUST A LITTLE STEEP  for a young kid. It was cool seeing one at the race up here last year. I only know of two in the area.

My dream of owning one has never gone away. In fact, direct to you from my "favorites", I bring you the home site for the Farrier boats, Corsair Marine. Enjoy! http://www.corsairmarine.com/
