I'm not selling these, actually I just bought 4 of them for $100 myself, which is a STEAL as they cost $75 each normally. I don't know how many this guy has, but I wouldn't wait until they're gone to find out.

Why am I telling you this? If any of you have nicks or scratches in your hard coat anodized aluminum, this is the next best thing short of hard coat that you can use to repair it. This alodine is meant to be used like a primer, and you would normally top coat over it. If you want to prevent corrosion from spider veining under your hard coat, this is the stuff you want. The manufacturer below sells other alodines, but this is the easiest to use by far for small applications.

To apply it, clean the area with some 400 grit abrasive, wipe with alcohol, wait for it to flash, apply the alodine, wait 5 to 10 minutes, and apply again. Once that dries you can top coat the repair area with a decent paint. Many times I need to get into areas too large for the applicator tip. Just press the tip against a plastic baggie, food wrap or whatever, and take a Q-tip to suck up the small puddle of alodine so you can apply it.

Hard coat anodize is the best aluminum treatment there is IMHO, however, I know a number of people that think powder coating over aluminum is a good idea. From my experience, it only takes one breach of the powder coating around salt water, and it's all over. Soon the aluminum oxide is lifting/flaking off large sections of the powder coating.

Good Luck
