Post subject:  Hobie "Bible" ?

Although I have owned 3 sailboats over the years I have never owned or even sailed on a catamaran. Now that I am considering one I have been brousing the forums to learn what I can about cats, their rigging, ideosyncrasies, etc. Unfortunately even in the answers there are a lot of terms and descriptions I don't understand. Hasn't anyone published a "Hobie Bible" that starts at the beginning and describes the rigging, procedures, etc, defines terms, describes the optional or upgrade equipment that can be added, etc. ? Any recomendations would be greatly apprecaiated.

A little dated, but they're a good place to start.

You could also hook up with Hobie Fleet 276 in Detroit - http://www.fleet276.com

A bunch of us are going up to Caseville next weekend to sail in the Alter Cup qualifier - you could learn a lot in a very short period of time by hanging out at a regatta.
