I don't think they will have an open class at this event but was interested. I would like to attend but my boat is no where near class legal and I have no interest in converting it back. I do have a '84 SE that I might consider racing but I would be lost downwind without a spin. Open class? |

Hobie midwinters is a Hobie One-design regatta. You might check out the Spring Fever regatta at lake hartwell, GA. Should be a lot shorter drive, too. sm |

I've seen two 18's registered for Spring Fever. Me and a dude from Wrightsville Beach will be single handing H16's. Unless we can get 5 boats we will be sailing open as well. There are several designs that don't have enough boats to make a class if 5 boats is the minimum. 2 f-16's, 2-f-17's, 2 h18's, Nacra 5.5, an Isotope, and several others. You should come down man. I had a blast last year. |
