Cheata has ever had a Website and now it does http://cheatabrackets.com/ Saying cheata is a small business would be an overstatement. It really is only my dad assembling them by hand in our garage. Im his son and I never had anything to do with the business but I decided to google it one day just to see what came up. What I found was this forum and a bunch of people who had no idea if the bracket was still being sold or how to contact him. I told him he needed a website and now he has one. I have used a CHEATA BRACKET for 20 years still works great I did upgrade the support bolts up one size The original bolts would bend. I use a 3 hp mercury motor @28 lbs. The system has let me avoid fast currents and get home before a Carolina sneaky storm has caught me out You have a great product it works as stated Gary Hobie 21SE ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have had many great days of sailing... on days i was afraid to go out because of the day starting with light winds.... the winds always seemed to pick up... i end up having to use the motor 1 or 2 times a year... the mount is great.. |
