i have a wave and like how easy a boat it is to set up and handle by myself. i sail alone 95% of the time. Getting on and off the water with a minimum of fuss, work, time is a big deal to me. Does anyone have expierece with a bravo? It looks like an easy fun boat for 1 person. does anyone have one? i am thinking about buying one. Of course ill keep the wave. |

Here's something I posted on another thread with a similar topic... Quote: I've sailed a Bravo quite a bit and I enjoy it more than I do the Wave. The rigging time is quicker and easier and I like the feel of the boat better. It reminds me a lot of sailing a Laser but not quite as maneuverable or responsive or tippy. Overall a fun boat to sail, especially if you can get at least 2 on the water and do some short course racing.

Why are you interested in a Bravo if you have a Wave? Isn't it good for 1 person? How long does it take you to set up? |

How long does it take you to set up? Do you trailer it? |

i trailer to the lake (1 mile from my house). At the lake it takes mabey 20 minutes to get the mast up, sail up, get the boat in the water and park the car and go sail. probably the same to take the boat down. I had a laser and the wave is easier to sail and I think set up. I dont worry about the hulls either, they are tough! I went sailing Jan 3 on the wave in 20 mph winds. I dont think i would do that by myself on a 14 or 16. I still wonder about a bravo though |
