If you can leave it on the beach with the mast up? I live on the shore of a lake and would take the boat out of the water and take down the sails but I dont need to unstep the mast every time. Any advice on how long it will take to get on the water if all I have to do is put the sails up and shove off?

Also, I will be sometimes alone and sometimes with a friend.

15-20 minutes. Thats with a beer in hand and being careful not to spill.

A sailing buddy and I could fully rig two H16's from the trailers in 20 minutes. A single H16 where you onlyhave to raise the sails? Max 10 minutes. Maybe 15 if you count dragging it into the water.

Yes, it is a beautiful thing. That's why I've nicknamed our 16 the "throw and go" boat :D

Gosh, I'd guess you're looking at 10 to 15 minutes tops, with a Wave 8)

Consider yourself very fortunate to have mast up storage and live there to boot! (read major envy!) If I was in your shoes, I'd have our 18 or 20 sitting out there with a sock on the roller furling jib. You wouldn't be talking about any more time, but I guess you'd always want a friend along.

If you can leave the mast up, ans are in a relatively secure location, where you can just undo the jib sheet and main sheet shackles, and just remove the sails, and the Boom.

10-15 minutes like everyone is saying Max.

10- 15 minutes is way to long if the mast is already up. ive seen it done repeatedly in 8 minutes, less if your sail goes up easily.
